More Bargains.

This week I scoured eBay for some deals. Here’s a few that I found:

xmen 1X-Men #1, Marvel Comics, (9/63), graded by CGC at 4.0 with Off White pages sold for $1385.00 on eBay on January 15th. Overstreet price guide value for this comic at 4.0 is $1550.00. This comic book sold for 89.4% of Overstreet guide value. This comic is considered, and will always be considered one of the big Marvel keys and I think picking up a solid copy for below 90% of guide is a good long term investment.

st tales ann 2Strange Tales Annual #2, Marvel Comics (7/63), graded by CGC at 2.0 with Cream to Off White pages sold on eBay for $45.99 on January 15th. Overstreet price guide value for this comic at 2.0 is $71.00. This comic book sold for 64.8% of Overstreet guide value. This is Spidey’s 4th appearance and his first cross over so it’s undervalued to begin with. Picking it up at less that 2/3 guide is a steal.

dr graves 39Many Ghosts of Dr. Graves, Charlton Comics (6/73), graded by CGC at 9.6 (Double Cover) with White pages sold on eBay for $16.50 on January 14th.  Overstreet price guide value for this comic at 9.2 is $12.00. This comic book sold for 137.5% of Overstreet guide value. OK, a Steve Ditko cover, Tom Sutton art, a fantastic cover, a double cover, high grade and white pages for $16.50? Where the hell was I!

fc 147Four Color #147, Dell Comics, (5/47), graded by CGC at 6.0 with Cream to Off White pages sold on eBay for $132.50 on January 14th. Overstreet price guide value for this comic at 6.0 is $312.00. This comic book sold for 42.5% of Overstreet guide. This just seems too cheap! Carl Barks Donald Ducks have always been prized by collectors and a 6.0 grade for a copy from the 1940s is an added bonus. The whole Four Color run is also very collectible with many brave souls actually attempting to collect the whole run (1351 issues in series 2).

Lots of bargains out there people!
