Collecting and Investing Tips #17

 Year End Review

comic pileIt’s been a lot of fun writing up the Collecting and Investing Tips for comicbookdaily.com. With our first year officially behind us I thought it would be cool to do a quick review of the tips that appeared on the site in 2009.

We’ve covered important topics like comic shop etiquette, comic book restoration and proper comic book storage. We’ve also posted tips on selling your comics, giving comic books as gifts and collecting raw comics (as opposed to CGC graded comics). Getting to know your comfort zone, your pet peeves and your investing goals are all important topics we’ve discussed.  We’ve encouraged you to buy local, count the pages, diversify your collections, to not judge others too harshly because of their collecting or buying tastes and to enjoy the journey that a lifetime of comic book collecting brings you. I hope the tips have helped or at least been entertaining. I look forward to dispensing fresh tips throughout 2010.
