Ah, a brave new world for DC.
This a great time for us oldtimers to step off and keep alive the memories of the old and great DC characters. I’ll leave the younger more vicious looking characters to the youngsters they want to bring into the comic reading fold. Maybe this is the time for DC to do this; with all the super hero movies out there they may be able to catch the wave.
I will miss the true blue characters I grew up with, and I don’t think I can stand to see Superman without his red underwear. I am upset that Action Comics will not reach #1000 as I was really looking forward to that.
Well, there is a wealth of other comics out there to start reading and even though DC will not be getting my money others will and who knows this might help a lot of other companies survive.
If this doesn’t work for DC they can say this was all an offshoot of FLASHPOINT and it never really existed . That, of course will allow them to go back to the originals once again and score a lot of publicity points.
