Nominations announced for 2011 Joe Shuster Awards

The nominees were announced this morning for the seventh annual Joe Shuster Awards, which recognize the achievements of Canadian comics creators. The awards are named in honor of Toronto-born artist Joe Shuster, co-creator Superman. Our very own Peter DeCourcy was lucky enough to be part of the Nomination Committee.

The winners will be announced on June 18 at a ceremony held during the Calgary Comic & Entertainment Expo. The nominees are:
