<li>one of my favourite bloggers/web comic writer <a href="http://www.beaucoupkevin.com/blog" target="_blank">Kevin Church</a> details his encounter with a <a href="http://www.beaucoupkevin.com/blog/a-twitter-conversation-with-larry-doherty-owner-of-larrys-comics-in-lowell-ma/2009/12/13/" target="_blank">comic book retailer</a> and the ensuing twitter back and forth they had. It&#8217;s a pretty petty discussion, but if you enjoy that sort of thing &#8211; have at it. [it's all fat jokes and he-said-he-sad.]</li>
<li><a href="http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/books/6780650/Underground-adventures-with-Alan-Moore.html" target="_blank">Alan Moore discusses his new &#8220;underground&#8221; magazine <em>Dodgem Logic</em></a>, which is funded in part by sales of <em>Watchmen</em>: “<em>After that wretched film, <em>Watchmen</em> is now selling everywhere, and much as I’m sure it pains them, that means they have to send me huge cheques every three months. <li>By way of introducing the New Comic Journal website, Gary Groth offers a brief history of comics criticism.</li>
<li>According to <a href="http://comicsworthreading.com/2009/12/11/webcomic-barred-from-dragoncon/">Johanna Draper Carlson</a>, DragonCon organizers have allegedly gone out of their way to inconvenience <em>Least I Could Do</em> co-creators Ryan Sohmer and Lar DeSouza.</li>
<li>Scans_Daily brings us some <a href="http://scans-daily.dreamwidth.org/1338867.html?#cutid1" target="_blank">Simpsons Christmas</a> cheer via the Bartman Christmas Special.</li>
<li>DC Editor Matt Idelson discusses all things Superman over at the <a href="http://dcu.blog.dccomics.com/2009/12/14/editor-matt-idelson-on-all-things-superman/" target="_blank">DCU Blog</a>.</li>

DC has a ton of lesbians, but not that many gay heroes or even anti-heroes.
