Confusion at WB over Batman?

It looks like those guys at Warner Brothers can’t make up their minds or they just don’t know what the other departmetns are doing. ScreenCrave says that Warner Brothers will be making a big announcement regarding the third movie in January 2010. This directly contradicts what Michael Caine said in a rather recent interview in which he said that it would be quite a while before work begins on another Batman movie. Pull it together guys! We need another Batman movie but it might be sort of hard to top The Dark Knight.
