Just like I wanted as a young boy in 80s/90s England, wondering over to the Newsagents with a pocket full of coins and quickened step in my shoes.
all in order to discover the latest comics to buy, read, keep, trace and sketch.
I’ve been drawing since before I could talk I think… and I’ve been taking art seriously (as an ‘adult’) in order to break into comics since about 2003.
I have a spark of talent. I’ve done my hard work – and continue to do so… I just need my luck now, so that the cake of dreams may be baked and eaten whole.
