Promises Promises

Welcome to Promises Fitness. Fiona, Trish and Shanta will be working with you for the next while, firming up you laugh muscles and toning your webcomic enjoyment. Sessions will be Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Proprietor Julie Faulkner runs a great establishment. The staffs are friendly, cheerful and ready to help you meet your goals. They are also real people who share your goals and challenges, cravings and failings. They are also not unreal magazine models but real people trying to live healthy.

The patrons of Promises come in all shapes, sizes, goals and experience. Oh, oh that woman, well, she’s known as the baroness. Um, well, we’re hoping that in time, she’ll come around. For now, it’s just good that she’s here.

The place looks great. Very clean lines, limited colours, you can tell it’s a professional place. It has character. It has style. It easily compares to those big chain gyms you can see in any city, in fact, it could easily become a nationwide chain itself, open for business in any major city.

There are thousands of places where you can go and work on your  giggle bursts or guffaw thrusts, but you won’t find many as good as Promises Fitness. If you need to add a new comic routine to your daily workout, get a membership at Promises Promises.

Chris Howard

Chris Howard has been creating comics longer than he's been reading them. Introduced to home made comics by a grade school friend Chris was doomed from an early age. When said friend later opened a comic store, first out of his home and later a storefront, Chris got on the weekly comic shop ride and has never got off. He later returned to making home made comics during the 90's with the launch of Dressed For Success, and again in 2009 with the move to webcomics. When he's not immersed in comics he has a day job doing graphic design and IT, a night job as a children's librarian and a wife and son. He doesn't sleep much.
