Covered 365: Day 280

Captain America #280, Marvel Comics, April 1983. Artist: Mike Zeck.

I think Day 280 is a good day, lead by Mike Zeck’s very strong cover to Captain America #283.

John Byrne’s cover to Fantastic Four #280 caught my eye, funny how some of these covers seem to speak to all the ages.

Rich Buckler’s cover to World’s Finest is good but it would have been great had he did it in 1978, his 1982 sensibilities leave a bit too much of the groovy off of this cover. It could’a been a contenda!

The Nazi deck of cards just adds some heaviness to Joe Kubert’s cover to G.I. Combat #280.

Easy to see why Jim Lee had so many fans in the early 1990s, he did some great X-Men covers.

A great comic book cover matching each day of the year, 1 through 365. Please chime in with your favourite corresponding cover, from any era.

Where is the Thing on the cover of FF? When did She-Hulk become a member?

I like these covers Walt and agree with your assessment of the Buckler. Klaus… if I remember right, the Thing took off to ‘find himself’ or something like that and his adventures were in Marvel Two in One… meanwhile She-Hulk joined as both muscle and as some eye candy!
