I was offered a copy of Archie’s Madhouse #22 last week by a very sharp comic head. Of course I did a bit of research on the book because a) he was asking way too much money for it and b) I wanted it. As of this writing we still haven’t made the deal so I’ll keep insisting its way too much money, at least until I can snag it from him at a discount. The more I read up on the book the more I realized Archie’s Madhouse #22 had to be this week’s Undervalued Spotlight.

Thor #134 Marvel Comics November 1966. The Undervalued Spotlight has landed once more on the great Kirby /Lee run (issue #126- 177) of the Thor title. Thor is as popular today as he/she has been at any point in his /her existence. There are lots of great books in this run and today’s spotlight is one of them featuring the first appearance of the High Evolutionary.

Undervalued Spotlight #192

Dazzler #1, Marvel Comics, March 1981. I’m pricing up books for the upcoming Toronto Comic Con and ran into a nice batch of X-Men. There was a sweet copy of issue #130 in there and I had to pick it up and thumb through it. I remember this book coming out and me being a bad boy rock and roller at the time I remember I hated the character.
